South Africa’s Tazmin Brits also finds herself in the team after her impressive batting performances throughout the competition, playing a key role in South Africa’s journey to the final. The Proteas even have a representation in form of left-arm spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba.

West Indies veteran Deandra Dottin added power to the middle-order with her aggressive batting, while Afy Fletcher, also from the West Indies, was one of the most economical bowlers in the tournament, picking up key wickets with her clever variations.
New Zealand’s Rosemary Mair and Australia’s Megan Schutt round off the bowling attack, with both players delivering consistently, especially in high-pressure situations.
