Slater, aged 54, required assistance from court personnel to stand up following the magistrate’s decision to refuse his bail application.

Facing multiple charges, including stalking and domestic violence

The former Australian Test cricketer, celebrated for his prowess on the field and revered for his insightful commentary in the broadcast booth, confronts a daunting array of legal hurdles. Among them are over a dozen charges stemming from allegations of stalking and domestic violence, presenting a significant legal battle for the former sports icon.

Further proceedings are scheduled for the end of May
