Manchester United are reportedly keeping close tabs on West Ham United starlet Chinaza Nwosu.

United have an extensive and rich reputation for signing youngsters before developing and nurturing them to become global superstars.

The Red Devils’ current first team boasts a number of players who have come through the ranks at Carrington. Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay and Jonny Evans are three established stars who regularly feature under Erik ten Hag.

This term, the Dutchman has given plenty of opportunities to 19-year-old Alejandro Garnacho and 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo. The two teenagers are now easily one of the first names on the team sheet and have managed an impressive 62 appearances across all competitions between them this term.

The current academy set-up is also filled with several wonderkids who are showing real promise as they aim to break through into the senior set-up.

United’s conveyor belt of talent is not showing any signs of slowing down and it seems like the 20-time English champions have identified another prodigy to add to their ranks.

According to Academy Scoop, United are “monitoring” West Ham youngster Chinaza Nwosu.

It’s understood that the 15-year-old is “highly rated” and there is plenty of interest in securing his services from plenty of other Premier League clubs.

United are watching him to possibly swoop in for him in the near future.

Nwosu has already represented England at U15 and U16 levels.

This term, the West Ham player has made 10 appearances for his side in the U18 Premier League. He has just one assist to his name in that time.

Nwosu primarily plays in central midfield but he can also be deployed as the deepest-lying star in the middle of the park and also at centre-back. Such is his versatility, which could partly explain why United have their eye on him.
