Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim met a number of his players for the first time on Tuesday, as his start to life at the club continues.
Amorim arrived at United’s Carrington training complex on Monday afternoon to officially assume his new role as club boss.
He was received by chief executive Omar Berrada, sporting director Dan Ashworth and technical director Jason Wilcox.
It’s believed that the Portuguese coach took time to greet a number of United’s staff members.
He was back at Carrington on Tuesday, where he met some of the first-team players currently undergoing rehabilitation from their injuries.

Majority of the squad are away this week, either on international break with their respective countries or on a short break.
Some of the players Amorim met include Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw and Toby Collyer. Amorim can be seen in the pictures below, interacting with these stars.
Mainoo, Yoro, Shaw and Collyer are aiming to return to action after the November international break.
Meanwhile, Mount recently made his comeback when he came on as a late substitute for Amad Diallo in the 2-0 Europa League win over PAOK FC.

A recent report covered by The Peoples Person claimed that Mount is set for an important role in the team under Amorim. Mainoo is another who could feature prominently in the new-look United team.
Amorim has yet to receive his visa but it’s expected that this will happen very soon, allowing him to take charge of training sessions.
The 39-year-old’s first match as United gaffer will see him come up against Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich Town at Portman Road on November 24.
