In pursuit of 179, the Sixers made a solid start with the help of their captain Ellyse Perry and Hollie Armitage. Perry’s knock of 81 off 38 balls showcased her incredible power and finesse, as she smashed 11 fours and 3 sixes to anchor the chase. The Renegades bowlers fought back, with Wareham shining yet again as she claimed 3 wickets for 26 runs in her 3 overs. Alice Capsey also made an impact, taking 2/22 from her 3 overs. Their efforts created some nervous moments for the Sixers, but Sarah Bryce’s gritty knock of 36 not out took them over the finish line.
